Laska’s most successful IFFA appearance ever has now come to an end. Thanks to a whole host of highlights, our time at the trade fair was an unforgettable experience – and once again, we have put together a summary for you. The key areas of focus were the HDW certification for the WWR 200, the completely redesigned grinders and the new ground broken in automation.

Raising the bar for production lines, HDW-certified WWR 200, higher grinder output

IFFA is the leading international trade fair for the meat industry and drew almost 67,000 visitors this year from 149 countries. As the most important platform for innovation in the industry, it is a magnet for all the players from industry, retail and the butchering trade.

Over six days, Laska exhibited perfection in every detail in Frankfurt with a wide range of innovations made in Austria for the modern food industry.

The positive feedback was overwhelming when it came to the new machine design, the successful achievements in hygienic design and – importantly – the continuing development of Laska as a brand and of our booth. The same was true of the mood at our in-booth reception, with the traditional Laska Evening visited by twice as many guests as we had expected.

Trade fair highlight: boiled sausage line. Streamlining many stages into one.

The Laska machines perform impressively both as standalone solutions or as part of a production line, increasing output even further while ensuring consistently high product quality. Production lines offer perfectly harmonised operating processes, as well as opportunities to continually review and analyse the product during processing.

The boiled sausage line exhibited at IFFA was precisely tailored to the customer’s needs and is one of many such production lines that Laska has created and delivered around the globe.

WWR 200 – the world’s only HDW-certified grinder.

Another product on display was the WWR 200, the first grinder in the world with Hygienic Design Weihenstephan certification. This certificate evaluates the degree of implementation of hygienic design requirements of an entire plant in accordance with the EU Machinery Directive and all other current and relevant standards.

Having received this certification from an official source, Laska can offer its users even greater certainty – adding further weight to the company’s promise: food processing in perfection.

50% higher output with WWB 200 Plus and WWB 300 Plus.

Decrease cleaning time and costs – this is the motto of the WWB 200 Plus and WWB 300 Plus angle grinders that were among the machinery on show at IFFA 2019. Our new, hygienic-design grinders can be cleaned in only a few moves and are especially effective at conserving material. The intelligent system control with optimised hourly output via the autopilot increases output by up to 50% on average. A new, standardised operating panel makes the grinders easier to control.

W 130 wins Fleischer Handwerk Award 2019.

Another highlight was the Fleischer Handwerk Award going to the Laska W 130 grinder – one of which was also given away in a prize draw at the trade fair – another accolade for the pursuit of perfection and innovation. And reaffirmation of Laska’s strategy of providing long-term benefits for its users.

Explore new horizons with the Laska Sales App.

The international partners were especially enthusiastic about the new Laska Sales App. The innovative application is intended to support resellers with sales in the future, and it was exhibited and explained in depth for the first time at the trade fair.

IFFA itself set new visitor records and clearly confirmed its place as a global meeting place for the industry, with 70% of attendees coming from abroad. Once again, Laska made a strong impression as a leader in innovation, strengthening its international reputation based on high quality in output, sustainability and hygiene.
