Higher productivity and longer shelf life.
At Laska, we understand the bottom line for food makers – production needs to become more cost-effective as greater demands are placed on product quality. To this end, we have drawn on a wealth of specialist knowledge and innovative ideas in our efforts to continuously improve production lines in recent years. Our machines provide impressive results as standalone solutions or as part of a larger production line. The key differentiating factor is the machines’ cleverly devised control technology, which boosts productivity when compared with manually-operated machines while continuing to deliver the usual high product quality.
Intuitive control via touch screen
Operators can easily and intuitively control the line using a touch screen, while the display screen also allows them to view the entire production line. Meanwhile, this puts production data at their fingertips at all times – for recipe management, fault management, fill levels, weight and much more. And the automatic safety monitoring and usage recommendations make for a speedy troubleshooting process.
Three ways to automate
We offer three line management systems (LMSs), depending on the level of automation you want. The simplest variant, LMS Basic, takes a number of manual tasks off operators’ hands, but does not make production traceable. LMS Cockpit is the smart control system that automatically optimises output. And customers wanting decentralised control over the entire materials management process can use LMS Cockpit Plus to integrate operation of the line by partner companies into an existing MES system.
The many ways you stand to benefit from a production line:
– Increased output: Machine networking and intelligent control system boost output.
– Innovative control: The entire system can be viewed on a touch display and centrally controlled.
– Absolute hygiene : Hygienic design reduces cleaning time and lowers the risk of downstream costs due to contaminated goods.
– Extend your products’ shelf life : Food made on a production line lasts longer.
– Optimise raw material costs : Material is processed efficiently and true to the exact recipe.
– Traceability: All the production data is logged and saved.
– Total flexibility: Add to your production line or use the machines as standalone units – for instance, during maintenance work. It’s all possible thanks to the standardised OPC UA interface.
– Digital production: You have the option of connecting your existing recipe management or materials management system to the production line.
