There are two factors that are of great significance in the food processing industry: excellent output and perfect hygiene. At LASKA, both of these are engrained in our approach. We are committed to optimising the hygienic design of our machines in every detail. The design of our grinders has been completely revised, and we have even developed our own custom captive screw in order to meet the highest demands. The WWR 200, which we will be showing at IFFA 2019, represents the latest high-point of our striving for perfection in our products.
It is the first grinder in the world certified according to Hygienic Design Weihenstephan.
Our commitment and passion in the ongoing development of our products and striving for perfection was recently rewards in a very special way. We have become the first company in the world to obtain certification according to the Hygienic Design Weihenstephan standard for our WWR 200 grinder. This certificate evaluates the degree of implementation of hygienic design requirements of an entire plant in accordance with the EU Machinery Directive and all other current and relevant standards. We regard this accomplishment as the supreme mark of recognition for the hygienic design of our machines, and we are delighted to be able to offer users even greater assurance based on this prestigious official award.
The new grinders. Clean high performance.
We have implemented the award-winning new hygienic design, featuring EHEDG-certified components, in all our grinders. Double seals, on both the drive and product sides, keep cleaning simple and reduces the time and cost of it. Hygienic surfaces, made of fully polished and chamfered materials, allow water to flow away continually, meaning bacteria don’t stand a chance. The interior hinges and horizontally detachable feed worm provide utmost cleanliness. Of particular note is the simple way in which the workspace is cleaned: the cleaning lance is introduced at the intake port and hot water is flushed into the interior. The ground clearance of 150 mm makes it easier to keep the area underneath the machine clean.
All grinders have an intelligent control function and an advantageous angle design. Their intelligent drive concept runs on autopilot, which has a clear advantage: an increase in output by an average of 50 percent. The speed of the feed worm is regulated depending on the power uptake of the working worm drive and of the cutting set. The grinders also come with a new standardised operating panel, which makes them very easy and intuitive to control. Functions include a soft start-up, reverse operation in case of blockages, an emergency stop and a safety step, all of which protect both workers and the machine. The robust workspace can easily withstand the enormous strain when the material is transferred, and the optimised geometry ensures less raw material is wasted. The feed worm is strong enough to process even frozen meat blocks in an ideal manner and to push them further along.
Other advantages:
– OPC UA interface machine can be integrated into the production line at any time
– Hydraulic worm pusher for quick and easy cleaning
– Protection hood protects freshly ground material against contamination
– Remote servicing available on request
